An open discussion of issues relating to adding MacOS X clients to existing IT infrastructures. This discussion will include MacOS X Server, Novell, Windows Active Directory, Kerberos, OpenLDAP, OpenAFS, authenticated printing, and other environments as the discussion and questions dictate. A short presentation on the methods used by NCSU in their public Macintosh labs will be presented. Discussion of Apple Software Restore and other tools for imaging and restoring hard disks will follow.

This discussion will take you through our recent transition to OS X at UNCC, what we learned, how we did it, and what we wished we'd known beforehand.
