The ECU Onestop, ECU's custom engineered 'portal', is currently used on a regular basis by over 95% of the student population and over 80% of the faculty and staff population for services including students checking grades and course schedules, instructors downloading or viewing course rosters, and staff view direct deposit information. The ECU Onestop is currently home to over 60 campus applications and has the flexibility to easily out-perform competitive products and allows integration with most systems ‘seamlessly’. This presentation will cover the design, development, and future of ECU's Onestop portal. Discussion will include the process of consolidating services for the entire campus community under a comprehensive, easy-to-use interface while also offering the maximum in customer service and process automation. The underlying technologies will also be discussed as well as the possibility of marketing the technology to other organizations. |
