Security and Identity Management is not only on the top-ten list of IT-related issues that are of strategic importance, growing in significance, and demanding the campus IT leader's time, but is now among the top ten in human and fiscal resource consumption, suggesting that campuses are beginning to take action to address this critical challenge. This session will address the technical architectures that are emerging to support SIM efforts, how to demonstrate the value of investing in SIM to institutional leadership, and will explore the successful implementation of a SIM architecture at the University of Louisville.
