- Welcome to the 2000 UNC CAUSE website. This year's conference will be held in Charlotte
September 27-29, and will feature some 30 vendors and over 300 attendees.
The annual UNC-CAUSE conference allows
all of the UNC institutions to come together and share their knowledge, discuss new
technologies, applications, and services, and how to integrate them into their campuses.
Finally, it gives all of us an opportunity to see old friends, make new
ones, and foster a sharing environment--without which we would not be as strong of a
University.

Entertainment
Wednesday night there will be a
reception and showing of the Omnimax show [movie] at Discovery Place. Thursday night
includes a reception, dinner and Tom DeLuca's Theatre of the Imagination. DeLuca presents
hypnosis like no one else-he explores the imagination. Combining the power of suggestion
with his volunteers' innate creativity, he produces a delightful blend of fantasy where
participants speak like aliens; pose in body building competitions; or really believe they
are the world's greatest dancers!
